With the final vote for sharks less than 24 hours away, Panama’s Minister of Environment played a special showing of the Only One CITES campaign video for world leaders at Panama’s main shark event. The short film, which was produced in both Spanish and English, highlights the ongoing collapse of shark populations and calls attention to the role that CITES delegates can play in restoring ocean abundance. We are hopeful that this video can inspire world leaders to make the right choice tomorrow, and vote in favor of requiem shark protections.
