What is the Blue Climate Collective?
The Blue Climate Collective is a network of start-ups and stakeholders working to elevate the ocean as a climate solution, advance interest, innovation, and investment in the sector, and scale collaboration around the world.
Advancing ocean-based solutions with speed and scale will require an acceleration of collaboration and awareness across a wide range of stakeholders, including businesses of all sizes, nonprofit organizations, academia, and government. It will also require a commitment of blended capital from the public, private, and philanthropic sectors at all stages of development.
The Collective features a cross-sector membership of businesses and government and civil society stakeholders working to advance ocean-based climate solutions outlined in the High Level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy report.
Through regular community convenings and by creating and distributing content to business and financial audiences, the Collective works to foster collaboration and marshal blended capital from the public, private, and philanthropic sectors to help solutions scale.
