We have some exciting news. Starting on February 20, leaders from around the world will meet at the United Nations, where — after nearly 20 years of negotiations — they could finalize one of the most important protection measures in ocean history: the High Seas Treaty. We’ve been doing everything we can to move the treaty forward, which is why Only One is teaming up with Greenpeace, the High Seas Alliance, RISE UP, and Jane Fonda to deliver our High Seas petition to key decision-makers at the start of the conference. But in order to maximize our impact and secure the future of our ocean through this treaty being agreed, we need your help to raise the volume on this effort to new levels. Add your name to the High Seas petition — we are so close to reaching our goal of 200,000 signatures.

We are at a critical moment for the future of Ireland’s seas. Will you join us?

We are at a critical moment for the future of Ireland’s seas. Did you know that a recent survey showed that 98% of Irish people want more marine protected areas? And yet, the government continues to delay proposed legislation that could safeguard marine life and coastal communities.
But now is a moment of opportunity. The Irish Government has drafted new Marine Protected Area (MPA) legislation, but is delaying its release. We are working with @fairseasireland to pressure the Irish Government to make the changes needed for a healthy ocean in Ireland and to release this legislation without delay.
Join us by signing the petition today and telling the Irish Government that they cannot delay any longer. Sign the petition at only.one/30x30ireland. #30x30Ireland #FairSeas
