Our letter against deep-sea mining was delivered!

We are thrilled to announce that Only One, Sustainable Ocean Alliance, The Oxygen Project, and Deep Sea Conservation Coalition have delivered our public letter against deep-sea mining — signed by more than 250,000 supporters — to world leaders from Panama, Palau, Chile, Costa Rica, France, Fiji, and Germany at the Our Ocean Conference in Panama. The delivery comes at a pivotal moment, with countries set to negotiate the future of deep-sea mining later this month. If they do not agree to pause the mining process, operations could begin as soon as this year and risk irreversible damage to critically important ecosystems.
