Mangroves come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, with over 80 species found across the world, including the four unique species native to Kenya being planted in Port Reitz creek, in partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects. One of those selected species is called Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, also known as the large-leafed orange mangrove, named after their rich orange flowers and expansive green leaves that can reach up to 25 centimeters in length! πŸ‡°πŸ‡ͺ🌼
