This week, we were excited to receive new photos from Eden Reforestation Projects, one of our mangrove restoration partners. So far at the tree planting site that Only One members help fund — in Port Reitz creek, Kenya — Eden Reforestation Projects’ employees have put more than 463,000 seedlings in the ground! Throughout this project, their team will actively protect the site and replant any losses to ensure the native mangrove ecosystem reaches its full potential. Many of these ocean trees will mature and produce seeds of their own, enabling the forest to return to the point of natural equilibrium.
