Like all ocean dwellers, coral reefs depend on a delicately balanced ecosystem to survive, with clear, unpolluted waters and the right amount of sunlight at the top of their wish list. Too many rays, and the coral will be susceptible to bleaching; too little sun, and the coral won’t have the right nutrients to flourish. Our coral planting partners Ocean Gardener and Coral Gardeners are both working to strike that balance and protect our vulnerable reefs, as well as planting many thousands of baby corals to restore a vital marine resource 🌊💙
