Favoring the shallow, inshore waters of coral reefs, blacktip sharks can be found patrolling the coast in small social groups, with their blotchy black dorsal fin often spotted peeking above the surface. Blacktips are agile and athletic sharks, and have even been known to leap out the water, breaching their bodies in an impressive aerial display! 🦈
