Coral gardening begins with the identification and collection of “super coral” fragments in the wild. These coral fragments are cleaned and seeded in nurseries, where they increase in size and multiply over time. Once the corals are resilient enough, they are taken to a reef and planted, helping bring life back to the ocean.
