Photo of the day

Our photo today shows a magnificent Frigate bird soaring over the canopy of a mangrove forest, a well-documented seabird with a distinctive forked tail and notable wing span averaging an impressive 7.5 feet. Known as the “flying pirates of the Caribbean”, scientists have described Frigate birds as “kleptoparasitic”, literally stealing food from the mouths of other birds in a mid-air highway robbery! 🏴‍☠
