Wild salmon provide enormous environmental benefits, cycling rich nutrients relied upson by diverse wildlife in the ocean, estuaries, and freshwater ecosystems. Their habitats are at risk becuase of climate change and the ocean-farmed salmon industry. Luckily, there are ways to help: we can increase sustainable food production, which is vital for creating a healthy ocean economy, and sign petitions to push for better fishing regulations. Our campaign to save salmon in British Columbia recently created a big win, with Canada committing to phasing out industrial fish farms along the British Columbia coast by 2025 🇨🇦 ✊
