On International Day of Action for Rivers, we want to celebrate one of our plastics removal partners Sungai Watch, a project working to find long-term waste management solutions to restore Bali’s rivers to their former health. A shocking 80% of plastic waste in the ocean comes from rivers, but by building meaningful and enduring community partnerships, Sungai Watch is working with locals to save our ocean from 50,000 kilograms of inorganic waste.
