Did you know that the Moray eel can grow up to three meters in length? Known as the “masters of the coral reef,” Moray eels are a typically shy snake-like sea creature, easily identifiable by their patterned scale-less skin and perpetually opening and closing jaws. One of the only fish species to sport not one, but two sets of jaws, Moray eels lurk in the smallest nooks and crannies of coral reefs, stalking their prey and snacking on a wide variety of ocean dwellers including squid and cuttlefish.
