Our plastics removal partner Sungai Watch are working hard to introduce innovative infrastructure throughout the network of rambling rivers and waterways in East Bali, helping to manage overwhelming waves of non-organic plastic waste. Over the past year, Sungai Watch has been testing, designing, and deploying more than 100 barriers across Bali waterways, experimenting with many different types of technologies from booms and nets to cages and blocks to learn how best we can improve our actions on land to protect our ocean, now developing a 100% recycled trash barrier, made from the rivers of Bali they will now be protecting! 🌊
