Coral nurseries can be found across coasts in warm tropical waters, an exciting and innovative way for ocean gardeners to rebuild and restore our reefs, one polyp at a time. As well as providing a vital opportunity to learn more about the factors that impact growth or cause damage, coral nurseries are a hub of local activity, encouraging ocean advocacy and education within and beyond the coastal community. One of our coral planting partners, Blue Corner Marine Research, works in coordination with the local community to monitor revitalized reefs and sustain their corresponding marine habitats, facilitating workshops, internships, and educational courses covering everything from coral health analysis to marine megafauna conservation.
