This vibrant and colorful reef is located in the shallow, warm waters of the Solomon Islands, a remote archipelago in the Coral Triangle, an ocean region known for its extraordinary reefs spanning parts of Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Timor-Leste, and, of course, the Solomon Islands. The coasts and atolls of the country’s 6 major islands and over 900 smaller islands are home to over 480 coral species, with the second highest diversity of corals in the world, second only to Raja Ampat in Indonesia 🇸🇧
