Sharks are absolutely critical to ocean life, balancing the food web and oxygen levels. Without them, hundreds — if not thousands — of other marine species would not survive. This scenario is unfortunately not beyond the realms of possibility: endangered sharks are still being maimed, finned, and left to die by commercial fisheries. But there’re actions we can take, and hope to hold onto. For the next weeks, we have a chance to help save sharks.
