We are so thankful to the more than 43,000 of you who took part in our campaign to protect New Zealand’s sharks. The New Zealand government has now closed the official comment period for its National Plan of Action on Sharks, but we were able to submit a comment on behalf of each and every one of you who signed the pledge.

Together, we called for: - Mandating observer and/or camera monitoring aboard all commercial fishing vessels

- Reducing the bycatch or retention targets of threatened and endangered sharks to 0%

- Requiring that sharks and other bycatch are released with as little harm as possible

Can you help us replicate this incredible swell of support by adding your name another campaign as well? Our call to create a new marine protected area in the Pacific Remote Islands can hit 10k signatures with your support!
